Youth Empowerment
Youth are at the core of GPGD Network’s vision for sustainable development and social transformation. As a network of graduates and professionals, we are uniquely positioned to mentor, inspire, and empower young people to become productive and responsible members of society.
Our youth development programs focus on employability, entrepreneurship, and leadership. We recognise the challenges of youth unemployment and underemployment, and we are committed to bridging the gap between education and the labour market. Through career guidance, mentorship, and training programs, we equip young people with the skills and knowledge needed to secure meaningful employment.
We leverage our network to connect youth with industry professionals, internship opportunities, and job placements. These connections provide valuable exposure and practical experience, enabling young people to transition successfully into the workforce.
Entrepreneurship is a key component of our youth programs. Our programs support young people in developing innovative business ideas and provide guidance on their business plans, management, and access to resources. By promoting entrepreneurship, we foster self-reliance and contribute to local economic growth.
In addition, we encourage active citizenship and community engagement among youth. We provide platforms for young people to participate in decision-making processes and contribute to community development initiatives. Our programs promote leadership, responsibility, and a sense of purpose.
We ensure inclusivity by targeting young women and marginalised groups, ensuring equal access to opportunities. Through our efforts, we are building a generation of skilled, confident, and socially responsible youth who will drive the future of Ghana.
